Pantera Solutions and Technology was contacted by a local Energy Management Controls Manufacturer to provide third party connectivity hardware and programming of a new 6 story educational facility for UNT. The facility had many laboratories which included a Phoenix Controls fume hood system. The building included 4 large AHU’s, exhaust fans and cooling towers located on the roof. On the first floor there were 4 large chillers, boilers and associated pumps along with VAV systems and fume hood systems spread throughout the facility. Pantera Solutions and Technology performed all programming to successfully integrate the Energy Management Systems with the Fume Hood systems and the Fire detection systems. Pantera Solutions and Technology also provided commissioning assistance, customer training and final acceptance testing for this project which was on time and on budget.
National Institute of Standards and Technology - Gaithersburg, Maryland
Pantera Solutions and Technology was contacted to provide third party connectivity solutions and programming for a new 5-building complex. The project included many underground laboratories with space temperature tolerances that were to be maintained within .01 degrees. There were two separate Energy Management systems installed at this facility. One BACnet Energy Management System controlled the non critical office spaces while the other Proprietary Energy Management System controlled the temperatures in the laboratories. The specifications called for all data to be displayed at only the BACnet Energy Management system and therefore the project involved meshing these two dissimilar systems together. Pantera Solutions and Technology provided consulting services, programming services and management services to successfully integrate over 2000 data points between these two dissimilar systems.

Pantera Solutions and Technology has performed many projects for this client ranging from Energy Management Programming of existing systems to third party integration of their Electrical Metering data and Chill Water systems. Most recently we provided Construction Management Services for ongoing electrical installations and upgrades to their existing Energy Management Systems. This project involved managing electrical subcontractors, programming, graphics, checkout, startup, commissioning, and support for upgrades to the HVAC systems at one of their campus buildings.
